    Hey;

    I ripped some movies from a DVD in order to place them in another DVD authored by me. I used Smart Ripper but I probably ripped them in the wrong way, because I ended with some vob files that don't match the movies I want to use. Some movies are spanned across two vob files.

    I renamed the vob files to mpg and can watch them on Media Player 10, Power DVD , etc but can't merge them. Both Canopus MPEGCraft an TMPGEnc MPEG Editor tell me that the files don't have audio.

    But they do! Two channels AC3!

    How can I solve this? Any MPEG Editor/joiner that can do this?

    Thank you!

  2. It is "natural" for .VOB files to be like that. You should be able to drop them into your favourite authoring program and it will recognise them.

    Hope it works!
