I was wondering if it is possible to do a conversion from component video (from my progressive scan dvd player) to 1080i/720p (dvi input on my hdtv). Basically my dvd playback is good but not great. Since my hdtv set is 65" 480p leaves a bit to be desired. I was looking around on the net and saw that alot of the higher end DVD players have DVI output built in. However, mine does not. So if it is possible to convert my component output to DVI to up the resolution to 1080i or even better, 720p, I would be interested in doing so. Thanks for any help in advance =)
