Hello,
4 weeks ago I have purchased a new Philips DVDR77. Basically I was very happy with the performance of the unit. Since 1 week ago many errors started. Recording was stopped several minutes before the movie ends, I tried to finalise a recorded Disk and this leads to a total SW crash. The recorder did not accept any buttons nor the remote control. Unplugging the power gave me at least my DVD back, but the content is completely lost. Now I cannot playback or record any movie because the recorder will always switch off after a while. If it does during recording DVD is rubbish. Now I have sent it to the service.
Does anybody has similar experience with the Philips recorders. Looking to some threads, I am starting to consider to sell it again. Any comments are highly welcome.
thanks and sorry for the long story
Werner
