Im trying to rip some japanese subtitles for my friends who dont speak english. But when i go to type in the character on terminal, it just gives me errors. Is there a way to fix this or will i have to go to VPC and subrip?

Japanese subtitles are not supported in text format for now, but only in VobSub format (.idx + .sub) or VOB built-in subtitles.
