I'm using the ATI mmc 9.0.1 and catalyst 4.9 (same problem with 4.7) and I noticed recently listed in the AVI capture dropdown resolution menu, some strange resolutions, e.g., 704x240, 640x240, 576x240 and several others. However, the one I want, 352x480 is not listed, only 704x480 and 640x480. I had been using PicVideo and Huffy with the 352x480 resolution when I first installed the video card, but somehow I have lost it and now have these unusual resolutions to pick from (mpeg resolutions are fine).
I just managed to work through the struggle of installing this card - finding the right media center version that worked, but with this new problem I have'nt got a clue what to try. I've got a P4 with Windows XP SP1 with run of the mill hardware - no conflicts that I'm aware of. Any help would be appreciated.

I usually advise 4:3 AVI capturing anyway (640x480), makes it easier to edit in an NLE.

Yeah, I've been capturing 640x480 so it's not a major problem, just something that will stick in my head until it's fixed. Maybe the next time I reinstall the OS it will work itself out.
