I have more information on the estimates on the T-shirts.

The company does do a high quality SilkScreen for very low cost (about the cost or cheaper to get a good quality shirt from Wal-Mart or Target) The SilkScreen detail is also like thta of commercial SilkScreens and it fade resistant and durable like sports jerseys and simple patterned shirts. To make the shirts is not very long period of time, so there would only be a few weeks of waiting. Their SilkScreen is also highquality and doesn't bleed colors and looks clear at distance.

They do the embroidery. However, I was not initially told that the max size they do is 5"x5". They do them larger, but the cost is a bit higher because they have to custom make a part specifically for our design in the larger size for the back design. Also thread count for that size is not factored in. Now if we were to still do embroidery Front & Back, we would be waiting about 14-18 weeks for the first batch of shirts because of the wait time to have the part created and then the time for the embroidery to be done.

I'm waiting for a response to see if they have a way of doing the SilkScreen on the back and embroidery on the front. I will get back with any info I hear.

Please feel free to leave any input on this. The cost for the shirt with the collar and buttons would be $10-$15USD including shipping for the US and possibly the same for the UK. I'm checking out a few other places to price check and see if anyone else can do embroidery of that size for cheaper, without sacrificing quality.

  2. Right, I think the ones with collars suck, I definitely want a t-shirt, not sure about the others.

Put me down for 20 and ill come back with the sizes once I have checked with everyone.

A black T-shirt would be nice. Or dk. blue, or grey. And a non-white collared shirt would be good too. I plan on buying several of each

i also say non-collar. i also say black. and i think embroidered would look even better than screen print, if it can be done.

I'm going to go into some strong business negotiations with them. It sounds like people want a regular T-Shirt that's darker colors. The suggestion from the site is to contrast the shirt from the colors in the design, so black works aren't hidden in a black shirt for example. However, if people are looking to order in quantities of 2+ for themselves and possibly 10+ for others they know, we have a huge ability to adjust things here & there. As for embroidery, I'm going to check with other vendors and see if some can do a larger pattern, and possibly for a lower cost. Right now, If we want the large emroidered pattern on the back, we'd have to have a min. order of 10 shirts at $35USD each and it would take about 3 months before we'd see them.
