Well, its about damn time. The only thing Intel has had over AMD for a few months now is mobos with PCI-e (and DDR-2, but that doesn't seem to be going anywere right now). Well, no longer. Abit has announced their new PCI-e equiped Athlon 64/FX socket 939 mobo courtesy of VIA's K8T890, the AX8! Yay! I wonder where nVidia's response is to this? After a relatively lackluster nForce2 showing (it took way too long for suitable drivers to come out) and VIA's comback-kid mentality, this could get very interesting. Ahh... now if only a actual PCI-e peripheral would come out

Intel always gets the neat board features first ti seems. As far as DDR2, it coming, very soon you will not be able to ignore it.

True... but looking at the current speeds of what DDR-1 is capable of, DDR-2 won't be necessary for at least 2 years. Don't get me wrong, I would love for AMD to adopt DDR-2 immediately, but seeing how I get a new mobo every year I'm not complaning... yet
