I have 2 hard drives on my computer the first being c: drive. My problem is the second dosen't have a designated drive. My device manager says it is working properly. How do i designate a drive so i can access it. Thanks.

Go into Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk Management.
From there you can allocate drive letters -
Just wondering, has the drive ever been used before? If it hasn't it needs to be formated, usually thats when it is assigned a drive letter.

fdisk & then format usually. But a program like Partition Magic 8 does it all automatically for you.
