I have 2 bad divx movies that I am trying to convert to vcd, both of them cause tmpgenc12a to freeze. I have tried divxfix and that finds an error in both of them. I have tried to rederive keyframes in dub but in the first file it only loads up to the bad frame in the movie and wont even touch the rest, and in the second movie it gives an unspecified error while trying to rederive the key frames. I have tried the audio thing with dub, any other suggestions? They both play fine, is there anyway i can just cut out the bad frames if I can figure out where they are or is there some program that can handle divx that can fix them?

d00d,
not all divxs are created equal. some a excellent to convert to mpg others are CRAP - these being the ones with alot of errors. i guess you could try removing the bad frames in virtual dub (cut them out) but i think u are just going to have to get better quality sources.
