  1. Just wondering if any one has had any problems backing up Man On Fire.
I backed it up with DVD-RB and CCE and noticed thru out the movie there was a lot of pixelation. So I gave DVD Shrink a shot and ended up with same results. The original plays just fine no pixelation going to try backing it up on another pc.

I think it depends on if you have a borderline DVD.

My wife got a set of Little House on the Prairie DVDs and they are marginal, but no pixelation. They crammed four 1-hour episodes (45 min. ea. without commercials) onto each DVD, so they're not the best quality.

Trying to back them up with DVDShrink puts them over the edge, and all sorts of compression artifacts show up, like jerkiness, leaves and grass in the background that seems to vibrate, lots of nasty stuff. The backups are unwatchable :P

No problem coping the complete disc with shrink with the enhanced settings. Plays perfectly
