Hello,
Here's a story for truck lovers:
http://www.clickondetroit.com/automotive/3738487/detail.html
The thing is huge! 9ft high 8ft wide! It's gonna go for about $100k and they'll make about a 100 of them. It's supposed to be for construction workers.

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

There will be a niche market that will want it as well.

Hello,
I'd love to see that thing go up against a HUMMER at a demolishion derby!(the full hummer, not wimpy H2 - which is still ten times more car than anyone honestly needs).

Bazooka - That niche market is the neighbors of Hummer owners who want to make them gealous!Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Well untill people get trired of the over 2 or 3 ton weight limit on some residentials streets and start geeting tickets everyday until they are force to sell the car or change the laws

Now I've seen it all. Every trucker wanna-be is going to take out a second mortgage on the house to buy one.

Head to head off road the hummer will eat that thing alive...just by looking at it I can see it's top heavy.

sure -- but just put a plow on it and make your own road..
plus it is a alum cab -- and the 900lbs engine is mounted quite low - that and frame and axles are all low cog"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -

Hello,
You know, a little offtopic there was a funny bit in a H2 commercial I remember seeing. The car was just riding down a normal highway but they still had to put up the "proffesional driver" warning on the lower part of the screen. What for?? You gonna run out of gas before you get to the next gas station???

though if you get that thing stuck --- it is really stuck ...
but more than once we have pulled out humvees stuck in sand with a normal 4x4 tow truck -- which is kinda funny"Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
this will be popular with the offshore racers hauling thier boats --
