I've got a Pioneer c503 standalone DVD player.
When I play VCD's on it, I can hit the stop button and then hit the play button and it resumes playing where I stopped it. If hit the stop button while playing an SVCD it starts at the beginning when I hit play, instead of resuming where it left off.
Is this a quirk with my Pioneer or is this something you experience on your player too?

I make my SVCD's with full chapter support as the original DVD had.
This is not the point though, I'm trying to find out if others can RESUME SVCD playback after stopping. I'd like to know if this is something with my, or all Pioneers, or all DVD players in general when playing SVCD's. -
Just tried it on my Pioneer DV-525 and it did NOT resume. My VCDs resume, but not SVCD.
