  1. i head a avi/divx file (288 MB) and i will burn it with nero 5.5.x to a vcd. If the burn-window startup there is a messages that the memory not great enough! But the cache-directorie has 1,7 GB free and my ram is also great enough!

    were ist the problem?

  2. Don't try to use Nero to encode your AVI file, first Encode it using any encoder and then drag an MPG file into Nero, if you try encoding in Nero, not only you get problems, but you also get a bad quality result.

  3. thanks, but with encoder will work well! i had used xping and such other! and i had only problems! i have read that nero can do use avi to vcd in the new version 5.5.x!

  4. Use TMPGEnc, it's still free, and it's much better and should not give you problems, Xing is old, and does not support AVI(DivX) files very well, and Nero's Encoder is not the best quality, actually it rather sucks.

    but with TMPEnc i have been experimentet! If i will load the avi file he prompt me that avi/divx canīt open or unsupported! I have been change the load value in PAL or NTSC but nothing others do?

    whatīs wrong?

  6. Not every AVI/DivX files are encoded the same, I suggest you open the file in VirtualDub and Save the audio into a new WAV file, and then use the WAV as the Audio Input instead of the original AVI file.
