  1. i was wondering why halo lags on my laptop i have a GeForce FX Go 5600 with 64mb and the cpu in the laptop is a p4 2.40ghz with 512mb ram the game works fine with my desktop and it has a ati radeon 7500 64mb with p4 1.70ghz and 512mb of ram. please help thanks

  2. you could change the power scheme of the laptop to a desktop so it will run at the rated speed of the CPU. 2.40ghz If you have it set to portable/laptop it will run the CPU at slower speeds to conserve battery power. It might also be worth trying the game at different video resolutions. That card should handle that game just fine. Might also try a disk defrag.

    Are you talking video lag or online lag?

    If it's video lag for starters I would suggest looking into what you have the video display settings at... display size, anti-aliasing etc. If your running a higher display setting it can affect the game if the card can't handle it, same with anti-aliasing and all the other goodies.

    If that doesn't help I'd look into what is running in the background.

    Sorry just had to....

    I dunno what to say, the card sounds ok, except for maybe the 64mb of ram part... but it SHOULD Be able to cut it with the right settings.
