Ahhhhh, the learning continues.
I load a DVD, I open it to drop the VIDEO_TS file onto disc imager and I also see a VIDEO_RM file instead of the AUDIO_TS file.
Now what?
Continue as usual, ignoring the VIDEO_RM file or do i do something with it?

That's a DVD made by a set-top DVD recorder. Copying just the VIDEO_TS folder will give you unplayable output. You should try just doing a full disk image of the entire DVD-R, with both folders and everything.
