hi how do i put a vcd on to vhs on my pc ? what do i need?

I don't know of any VHS drive for a PC, so my suggestion is to forget the PC completely. Get a standalone DVD player that plays VCDs and a standalone VHS recorder. Connect those two with an A/V cable and have a glorious time. Can't get much simpler.

or if you want to use the computer get a sigma designs hollywood+ mpeg decoder card that has the best mpeg out for any computer card ever made (even matrox!!) it basicaly turnes your computer into a dvd player it has svideo out with a rca adapter. and headphone out put radioshack has a adapter to fix it and put it in stero. us 40$. then hook it to your vcr.

U could Get a Video card with a svideo out and connect it to ur tv with ur vcr. The play the movie on ur computer and connect the comp. to the tv and press record on the VCR.
