Is there any way to get multiple show recordings [on standard quality mode] from an EyeTV USB and import them into iDVD to create a menu/DVD?
Are the mpegs that EyeTV USB records compatible to import straight into iDVD? or is there something one must do to make that happen? Or is it not possible without further degradation of the video?
any help would be great!![]()

You would need to convert the mpegs to DV for use in iDVD. There are several applications that do this conversion, including the export command in Toast 6. As for retaining quality, any conversion deteriorates quality somewhat. You'll have to see for yourself if this is an unacceptable difference.
Also, you'll be limited to iDVDs maximum length. With iDVD 4 it is 2 hours (1 hour in highest quality). -
Download the EyeTV 1.6 software update and you will be able to export directly to iMovie, iDVD and DVD Studio Pro.
