Some software packages record and display frames dropping statistics. Pinnacle, Adobe Premier, Virtual VCR are good examples. Others such as Ulead Movie Factory, WinProducer, MyDVD do not give any feedback. I prefer to see frames dropping statistics so that I know what is happening during the capture process. However I do not want to exclude these second group of products. Is there a way to get an idea about the number of frames dropped during capture even if the package that is used does not give any feedback? All suggestions will be welcome. Thanks in advance.
