    Off the bat I'd say the Pioneer does DVD9 @ 4X.

    Get the Pioneer 108 - it's the best burner, hands down. It burns DL at 4X. I got it at New Egg for $97 shipped - pay the extra money, it's worth it.

  4. Or get the best there is and buy the NEC 3500 for $83 shipped, also at New egg and pay even less.
