Is it possible to resume an encoding with mencoder when you have the log file of the first pass ? If yes, how ? (Because of a battery failure...)

you can't resume a partial encoding but you can always restart the second pass as long as you have the original log-file and the command line with the settings.Originally Posted by olyced

Yes, I have the command and the log file. Do I just retype the command and the second pass will start directly without changing anything in the command ?

except that you want to replace vpass=1 with vpass=2Originally Posted by olyced
