  1. Hi gentlemen,

I am so desperated before I post this question for help. I own quite a large number of karaoke dvd. Each dvd only has 1 or 2 songs I used to use. It is so inconvinient to take a whole stack of dvd when we have karaoke party elsewhere beside of my house. I want to rip all of my favorit songs and store them on my laptop. All I need later is taking my laptop and connect it to a stereo system and a TV also playing the karaoke songs via a karaoke software. On most of the karaoke dvd I found .vob type of file. How can I rip these file to harddrive and still be able to play them back as a karaoke song (i.e be able to turn the vocal on and off)?

    Thanks in advance
    Thang

ps. There are many people out there has the same wisdom but I don't think anyone found the answer yet!

Rip the entire dvd to your hd,

Play the dvd with PowerDVD, by select open dvd file on hd and open the video_ts.ifo file.

  3. You can use DVD-Shrink to rip selected songs from your DVD disks. Use the Authoring function, then user Start/End to select the specific song you want to extract. Put each song on a separate folder on your hard-disk because the program always creates the same DVD structure folders and files.
    Hope that this will help.

  4. Sorry folk, I did try many software such as smart stripper, dvd shrink, DVD decrypter but I can not find the way to turn the vocal on/off yet. If you can come up with the solution I think you have a lot of people. Thank you.
