    just went onto apple, looks ok. for the price thats failry good. 20 inch, 1.8 ghz G5 at 1899.

    Pretty slick. Looks like the rumour sites were right. Apparently they are shifting 1.8GHz G5 priority to these new iMacs, so if anyone's ordered a dual 1.8, you might have a little wait on your hands

  3. Nice- Except the video card... that can't be upgraded. I was gonna get one... now... I guess I'll wait for the next G5 or a 17Laptop.

    thats the idea behind the iMacs - for basic computer users, not for upgraders...

    looks pretty cool - much smaller footprint!!!!!!!

  5. I'd rather have a base with a thin monitor than a thin monitor and a thick base though- too much extra plastic. The picture will be nice... I just wanted something that could make motion work ok, but that's not going on with the new IMac...
    and writing it in huge block letters on the back... It reminds me on highschool when I wore that big GAP sweatshirt advertising for the man! I'll have to get some good stickers to put over it if I ever get one!
