Logo Help

[IAIHMB]

For some reason any photoshopping I do I dislike. :P I know I am a noobie here, but maybe someone can help. Basically I am looking for:
-An "IAIHMB" logo for a site.
-Darker colors; black, grey, blue, red etc...
Those are the only real limitaions I have. I really don't have anything to give in return. Maybe do a poll once all of the entries are in and I could give a GMail invite or two depending on how many I have? Thanks in advance guys.

Alot of people I have been talking to want something along the lines of computers and peer to peer/file sharing.

I am looking for more opinions, but I don't want to make another thread. :P I am now looking for color suggestions, but I am lacking all creativity at the moment. I tried to keep the colors down so people could see what can be modified, I'll quit gabbing now. Here it is:

All it has to say is "IAIHMB" and in darker colors; red, blue, black, grey, etc... The rest is up to you. Thanks alot.

Anything like that is good stuff. The yellow-ish really isn't my style, but I can edit that if necessary. The only real complaint I can think of is it is a little big. :P The site is going to be based around a forum, and it looks like the typical vBulletin (might be going with Ultimate Bulletin Board) logo is about 300x100. Just wondering, how did you go about learning to photoshop so well?

got it, started playing with it, then found vcdhelp.com and started making fun of people or parities...basically just ******* around.....

The gold rim on the text was gamble on my part, I can change that easy enough. I'll have a better effort later this evening, I just got home and have a few things to do but not to worry, I have time and beer...that makes Northcat very creative

Just wondering, how did you go about learning to photoshop so well?

Give it a try, it's really not that hard. I don't use photoshop but my app is similar to Northcat's. It's as simple as text tool>type your words> select your font>applying an effect>adjust the effect to your liking. Don't like the results hit the undo button and start over.

If you don't have access to photoshop and don't have the coin to buy it try Ulead Photoimpact. Retails for about $80. Actually if you need to purchase something Photoimpact will do anything you need to do.

thecoalman: Thanks, I have a copy of Adobe Photoshop CS. I take it you are using Paint Shop Pro? I guess it isn't really how northcat_8 got so good, more along the lines of how he got so creative. :P Beer is nasty, so I don't think that will work for me.

I finally got a decent design down, but that logo isn't permanent. I think I made a mistake by advertising it though, it has been up since this and people have already used 40 MB of bandwidth. :P

You may want to put up an index.html file in your root, so people don't go digging in your folder or figure out the structure of your site.
