  1. I installed Power DVD five a couple of days ago and just noticed that it's not working properly. All the video files I try to play back with it are in black and white (they play fine in Ulead DVD and Win Media Player). This morning I reinstalled my video drivers and PowerDVD was working fine. This afternoon, I had to reinstall windows media player 9 and now PowerDVD is in black and white again. Is there some kind of conflict between PowerDVD and Windows media player? I couldn't find anything on MS or cyberlink web sites.

    thanks,
    e

What MS Windows are you using?
If your using XP you don't need video drivers.

  4. Sorry. I guess I should have given more info.

OS: win 2k pro (sp 3)
Video Adapter: Geforce FX 5200 Ultra 256 MB
Video Drivers: nvidia Geforce Universal 61.77
Two monitors in Dualview mode (I've tried different modes with no success).

I've uninstalled Media Player and still PowerDVD is in black and white.

    Thanks,

I have both on my pc. They both work fine. So I don't know what
    going on.

You may have tried this are ready, but uninstall both.
Install Media Player 9 first, then powerdvd.
