There still not making any money which is why they recently raised prices. I notice there not carrying some new releases. Are they going under?

I dont know for a fact...but I heard something about it work the other day. Since blockbuster started the movie pass, they're losing customers because they dont have to wait for the movies to come through mail...they could just hop in the car and drive to BBV and the same day they finish their movie. Also, BBV is thinking about doing a similar thing...20 bucks for delivery though mail, plus you get 2 free in-store rental coupons per month.

Whoops. I forgot that indy is a test market so it hasnt caught on everywhere yet.
Soon, there should be a gamerush coming. BB is going to be divided into 2...one half for games and the other for movies. Also, the TV section should widen soon. -
wait, Devanshu, do you mean 2 different stores? or different sections? cause id love to see a video game rental store. that would be awesome

Firstly as far as losing money, all new business lose moeny and netflix was predicted for the last couple of years to still be losing moeny at this point. Blockbuster certainly lost money for longer when it started years back.
I am trying to figure out what new releases netflix isn't carrying. I follow that pretty closely and look for quite a number of releases when the are show as scheduled on rottontomatoes etc and netflix is certainy doing better than EVERY online service and blockbuster in number of new releases carried.
netflix is definately slowing their turn around time for heavy users. I don't think that is sprising or even ill-advised. -
i want a game rush by me, do you know if they are going to start building more Game Rush stores?

Maybe if NetFlix started offering porn they could get a lot more customers. I don't see either WalMart or Blockbuster ripping them off with that idea. I know that there are porn only Netflix type of places, but why would you want to subscribe to two of these.
-
I don't subscribe to any online places. I just go to a local Hollywood Video. The one near me is an independent franchise, which means they hold the Hollywood name and Logo along with carrying the line of Videos Hollywood requests their stores to carry, but the actual business is called Las Vegas Video Rental Club. When you go in, they have the main floor which is all Hollywood Video stuff. And then the back area has all the LVVRC movies and games they have for rent. They still even rent NES, SNES, N64, PS1, Sega & Dreamcast games. I like it because they have a huge selection of older movies most streamline Video places don't have. If they don't have what I'm looking for, I know the manager well enough that he may get it for the store because it most likely will get rented a few times. It's also one of the few Hollywood Video's you can go to that DOES have a porn section.

I had both passes and exhausted their inventory within one month!
Now I'm with Gamefly for games and they have over 850 PS2 games. Should last me a whileI'm a nobody, and nobody's perfect...so I'm perfect! -
