  1. I reinstalled DivX on my PC because my DivX files wern't lodiang right into TMPGEnc. My problem is solved, but now the DivX logo is appearing all over my Xvid stuff. I know I can disable the logo, but whats the deal with DivX taking over my Xvid files. (Video toolbox confirms that they are XviD files.)
This plan is so bad, it must be one of ours.

if you can disable it then disable it. it's just your player.

divx and xvid r pretty much the same. xvid is just the free version. that's why xvid videos work on dvd players with divx capabilities. install the xvid codec

he obviously already has the codec installed or he wouldn't be able to view the movies. the issue is that he hasn't unticked the 'display divx logo' option in his codec/player configuration

  5. I know to uncheck it. My question is this: why is the Divx logo on Xvid video?
