Subtitled Vcd

I do not know if this is the right forum to post it
But i have a problem

I converted the movie powerpuffgirls with TMPGEnc Plus 2.5 to vcd and i used the directshow option as it was written in some tutorial to make it work with subtitles
And it all was great the movie was comprising the subtitles and the sound was also great and everything was all ok

except for when i played it on my MP3 player

It played it and it was all great and then suddenly it stuck at 2:20 minutes
It seemed to have stuck for a few seconds and then it replayed the movie
so i tried to skip that second and it worked and after a few seconds it would do it again

When i try to play it on the computer it seems to work fine
I know it is not something with the player because video clips that do run on the player
Do not seem to issue these errors When i try to analyze them with vcdeasy

I would also like to add that i divided the file into two smaller ones with a program called DV-Tool

And i already tried burning the movie with two different programs and even fix it with some mpeg program and it still remained the same
