Hi Guys,
I'm very, very new to this VCD stuff. I have a number of VCD's and would like to copy them.
I've used Adaptec CD copier function successfully sometimes but not always. All my VCD's play perfectly well on my DVD player (Philips). When I copy some of them using the Adeptec software I get a perfect result but with other VCD's that also play Ok in my DVD player all I end up with is coasters. How to I copy VCD's. Do I need to get some other software ?
Also - I have loads of digital photos that I can copy onto CD's by just burning the jpegs. But I've heard that it is possible to burn them to a VCD and then view then in sequence on a DVD player and use the FF button to click through the photos or even show each picture for 30 seconds and have music / commentary in the back ground. This sounds perfect for me. Is there anybody out there that could advise on which "Freeware " to download and then how to do the above ? I would be very pleased to hear from some of you experts.
You can email me privately at Zeppelinmad@yahoo.com. IF you prefer.
Regards
Andy

You can use any decent program (which means not Adaptec/Roxio) to copy your VCD's, such as: Nero, CloneCD, BlindWrite Suite and many others.

Like Sefy said just use any burning/copying software most VCd are not copy protected soo they willl be easy to copy(for backup porpuses) but if it is try Discjuggler or CloneCD to overrite the protection
