I want to delete frames of a mpeg-2 file using TMPGEnc Plus without having to re-encode. Does anyone know how to do that?
I captured a VHS using Sonic MyDVD with Adaptec card. The card is recognized only by MyDVD. Not recognized by Ulead Video Studio, Premiere, VirtualDub, or MS MOvie Maker.
Thanks

I don't think (but I could be wrong...) that you can do MPEG editing with TMPGEnc Plus without re-encoding....
There are a couple of Womble products that I believe can do this though.
try this:

If you use the mpeg tools> merge and cut, you can edit an mpeg without re-encoding. It's not a very good editer though, having used womble I'd recommend that too.

The merge/cut feature in tmpgenc will not work (I think) because I need to cut the existing file and then joined the parts I want. The problem is what to do with the cut parts. I need to save the parts I want and then my problem comes. How to save these parts without re-encoding. When using the merge button, it ask for files I want to join.
I downloaded Womble and tried for a while. I couln't find how to edit the file without re-endoding but at least it is faster (way faster!) then tmpgenc. Gotta read the help section and see if it's worth to buy it.
