    I had read that the SP2 was giving some problems. I had downloaded it but did not install it because of the above comment. My copy of the SVCD2DVD (v1.51.2.0) has been working flawlessly, would I be looking for trouble installing the SP2 or does this apply only to new registration of the software.

    Go to the Computer forum and scroll through the threads. There are two that discuss Xp SP2

    Thanks for the info. It was very interesting reading. I will hold off installing it and avoid potential conflicts. I'm already protected by Norton Internet Security 2004, adware, spybot & Pest Patrol which I run all on a regular basis.
