Hi all, i converted my avi to mpeg2 PAL and tried to author it in dvdit, when the it creates the dvd volume, i checked my vobs and played it on my computer the video is jittery and flickering i burned it on a dvdr and played it on a tv still the same prob :S
Can sum1 help me into why the video is flickering and jittery?
Did i encode it the avi file wrong in tmpg?
Any helpers plzzzzzzz![]()

does the mpeg2 play ok?
does dvdit reencodes?
what is the source?
framerate conversion, PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL? -
yeah the mpeg plays perfectly, its just when it creates the vobs the video is jittery im from australia so its PAL to PAL
dvdit doesnt re-encode the video it just re-encodes the audio, the source is captured off satellite in avi interlaced 702x576 res -
tried authoring with some other tool? like tmpgenc dvd author.

ooooooooooh man i worked out what was wrong when i encoded the mpg in tmpg i set the field order wrong is should be top first not bottom .....i'm so dumb
