As per the advice of posters in this forum, I'm now using DVDshrink along with DVDdecrypter.
But I'm curious about the files DVDshrink creates to "backup" DVDs, I know that when I used ElBy's CloneDVD it cleaned out the temp files it created when "backing up" a DVD, but I am trying to make sure that I don't have to delete the files DVDshrink creates manually.
If I do, where would I find them? Did a quick look at my local disc files and didn't see anything.

When you start to back it up, you can specify where the files will go.
I usually have a folder called backups and I direct the program to there.
Then I can delete them when I get ready. -
DVDShrink saves analysis results so you don't have to re-do analsis if you decide to shrink the movie again with different settings. These files are relatively small (a few hundred kilobytes) but the numbers do build up over time. DVDShrink will never delete these analysis files on its own.
I can't remember exactly which directory it is, but it's something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\DVDShrink
You should be able to find it fairly easy - just explore aroung a bit.
Note: there's a 1 kilobyte file in that directory. I don't think deleting it does any harm, but if you do DVDShrink will display the EULA dialog when you next start it up.
