    I was wondering if it was possible to scan .img files for errors. I do this all the time with bin/cue and .iso files using cdmage (cdmage doesn't seem to be able to scan .img)
    is there a program that will allow me to do this?

    scan for errors? just mount the file w/ daemon tools to see the contents of the image file.

    Yep, use Daemon Tools, to mount it, and DVDInfoPro to scan the data...
