I did a search of the forum but didn't find any relevant info. Made quite a few backups using AutoGK w/ Xvid 1.01 and they've turned out great (2-CD mode for most of the films). There's a mini-itx computer mounted in my entertainment center for use as a player (files sent there from my main machine over the wireless network after completion). However, since there's a growing number of avi files filling up its harddrive, I'd rather burn them to CDs. Basicly, are there any special setting requirements for an Xvid CD or is CD-ROM ISO9660/Mode1/Joilet in Nero all that's necessary?

There are no special requirements. All an XviD file is is data that can be processed in such a way that a video results.
Burn it as data, and you'll be fine.
