  1. i always got high beautiful quality with cce 2.50, but i want to know if newr versions like cce2.67.00.27 are better in quality and or speed then 2.50.

    I'm right with you. I have stuck to 2.5 because I got better results then with later versions, but I'm always wondering whether I'm missing out.

    You are going to get different opinions on this but the general consensus I've seen is that 2.5 seems to run a bit faster on AMD chipsets and later versions (not 2.64... that one is a mess) run a bit faster on Intel chipsets. The speed difference is pretty slight though.

    As for quality, I've compared 2.5 to later versions and I just keep coming back to 2.5.

    Later versions have alot more options and filters but I doubt I'd use them since I can do whatever I like when I frameserve via avisynth anyway. Later versions probably have more bugfixes as well but 2.5 seems pretty darn stable to me.

    Go ahead and try out the latest trial version that CCE offers and see if you can get better output then with 2.5. I couldn't.

    Not to mention that all the 2.69 versions to date have massive bugs. The latest version I get any luck with is 2.67.xxx, or 2.50.
