    I have a Liteon LVD 2001, and the volume is extremely low when playing DVDs. I have to crank my TV all the way up to get a decently loud output. If I switch back to my TV, the volume is blaring...

    Does anyone else have this problem with this player? Is there a way to boost up the DVD player itself?

    Same here, don't think there's a way to boost it. Sorry.
    Just be carefull when you switch back to normal TV
