Hi all
I wonder if anyone here can give me some suggestions regarding a bunch of flv files that I like to improve their volume which is very low and when converted to ie avi (xvid or Dvix) contain lots of hissing.
Should I convert them to other format and then demux, correct the audio stream and remux?
What are the best tools to use for this job?
Thank you

You could always use FLV Extract on the FLVs, which would give you an AVI video stream (no audio, FLV or VP6-encoded) and an MP3 audio stream. Then, all you'd need to do would be to edit the MP3 however you want, re-encode the AVI for DivX/Xvid, and then mux the AVI and MP3 together.
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them? -
then mux audio to the avi,
and try the following,
or adapt it

Thank you for your replies
I may have to do some audio restoration to wipe out the hissing.
