Hello everyone,
When I open Audio settings in Adobe Premiere 6.5 and try to pick an audio compressor, there are only several available compressors in the list to choose from.
I wish to use the MPEG Layer-3 compressor, which is most widely used for DivX movies. However, it does not appear as an avaiable selection for an audio compressor, although it IS installed on my system and is available in other editing software (like VirtualDub).
Any idea how to do that?

Don't know if it will work, but you may want to copy the mp3.dll into the Plugin folder (located in the program directory).
And you can always ouput to wav, then convert to mp3 with another app.Got my retirement plans all set. Looks like I only have to work another 5 years after I die........
