    trying to read "other" channels that could be obtain through regular cable with a tweaking program? please help

    I'm not sure what you mean by "other" channels. If you have your cable tv hooked to your card and setup correctly you should be able to get your cable channels on your card. If you mean premium channels you would have to use your cable box as a tuner. You can't use your tuner card to get premium (scrambled) channels.
