Data to video DVD

Can you advise a process, if possible, on how to take computer data, files, folder, etc, and burn them to a blank video DVD? Or is this even possible? Nero will not do this for me, so either it is possible, or not possible.

nero burning rom
select dvd-video
add the dvd files to the video_ts folder
add the other files to the root or create new folders
done

Thanks! For this question, I do not need to burn any DVD files to the blank DVD, just data files. Thus, would I need to have a video/ts folder anyway, or simply make new folders and burn?

Just select data dvd in your burning program.

Add your files and hit burn.

Hello,
Your just doing things like .doc, .mp3, .exe, etc??? If so just drag and drop your folders in any fashion. You only need video_ts if your using mpeg2 watchable dvd video files. I do it all the time for data backup. Use data mode in your burning software so it won't try to encode it to anything.

OK folks..thanks! You guys are fast! I had tried what you suggested before and it did not work, but I will do it again, slowly, perhaps I missed something when I did it before.
