    Just bought a DVD player that plays DIVX , but my XVID's on wont play!
    Is there a way to convert from XVID to DIVX ?

    Virtualdub...set the audio to direct stream copy, video set to full processing, select compression and divx.

    You could also try changing the 4c's from xvid to divx. Ie relabel the video as being a divx. Some divx players will play xvid if it has been labeled as divx even though it is xvid.
