I had the gordian knot codec pack installed but my videos were reversed when played. I then had to uninstall the pack to fix the problem. I reinstalled the codecs that I used most but then my videoplay became choppy everytime I increased the screen size. I've tried all the players available and the same problem occurs. I've also tried different video types and I still get the same result. is there a solution to the problem?

Could be a lot of things. Try uninstalling all your codecs and then adding them one at a time and only adding the ones you need. Maybe your OS is knackered? No telling what it is from where I sit.
