    Hello,
    Let's see, there's:
    Cakewalk Pyro,
    Goldwave,
    Audacity,

And that's just to name a few!

Check out this part of this website:

    https://www.videohelp.com/tools

There's plenty there, just look up the audio section.

I use sonic foundry soundforge ... just open the mp3 file cut the first song ... select the edit tab ... select paste special ... then paste to new..... then goto the file tab and select save as .... repeat for each song ... job done.

Well, I could be wrong. I just hear that mentioned a lot here. I personally use Cakewalk Pyro 2003 for my mp3 editing. Somebody here should be able to clarify it for you.

EDIT -- You already have another suggestion - soundforge, thanks psx_pirate!

I'm a computer idiot compared to most people here. I would convert it to a .wav file with something like Winamp....then use CDWave to break up the songs. I didn't like Goldwave when I tried it.

    Hello,
Personally, yes. But it is payware ($50US I think, could be wrong). But I'm sure most software is essentially the same.

It let's you see the soundwave and zoom in to get the precise second you want to trim. It only does mp3, wav, wma so if your into others like aac or ogm you may want to keep looking.

  9. The instructions given for Sonic soundforge should work ALMOST identically for goldwave.
