Lttle proble could use some help

I am using TMPGEnc DVD Author to make a dvd. I am recieving an error message its the one 77F83AED in module ntdll.dll now i read the common errors section and what i want to know is what should i use to apparently try to fix this video file. I saw virtualdub but i am using mpeg 1 files will it work the same and is there a tutrial i could follow so i don't mess it up. Thanks guys and gals

Ok everyone i found out its not a video problem its a sound prolem any ideas on what i can do. Its in mpeg 1 and vdub won't let me save it as avi i was gonna extract the sound as wav then an avi then rencode but i am not sure if i can any help would be appreciated.
