I have just used VDub for the first time. I have a small movie file 126kb that was too dark I ran it in brightness mode through VDub and then saved it as an avi file in a new desktop folder. When I checked I found that the saved size was actually 13 GB can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

you must use a compression, under file->compression. use for example divx or xvid.
