Hi. I have a WinFast 2000 XP PVR tv tuner that i set to automatically record 1/2 hour shows in MPEG2 quality. The original recordings are fine as far as video/audio is concerned. The only problem is when I try to cut out the commercials at the beginning and end of the shows, the audio becomes out of synch with the video. This appears to happen during the rendering process. I have tried using nero, ulead visual studio 6, and ulead DVD movie factory 2.5, either converting to dvd format or vcd format, and have gotten the same problem, usually towards the middle/end of the half hour program.
Am I using the "wrong" programs to do this? Or do I need a better/faster computer? My specs are a Pentium 4 2.66GHz with 640MB ram.
