Hello everyone have a strange issue i hope you all can help me with. Im trying to Back-up and anime series i have on DVD (Slayers Try) and ran into and odd problem. I want to split it to 2 discs to retain all the original quality (as the original is dual layeres with 6 episodes) I also want to keep the menus intact. Wierd this is that all the episode are contain in one vob file(which made CloneDVD2 useless for this). I have suceessfully split it with DVDXCOPY Platinum (yes i know what your thinking about using XCOPY so dont say it, wanted a quick easy way to do it) but wehn i go to remove the 321 Backup warning, i cant find the vob that contains the warning as per the guides on how to do so. So can anyone help with a way to find and remove the waring or another way to split the disc, keep the menus and not have to go through a ton of extra steps or get a bunch of different software. thanks in advance.

Not that I know anything about this, but dvd decrypter has an option to split files. I assume that it will break up the VOB's, though I don't know if it does it intelligently or not

You'll probably have to reauthor.
I'd use DVDShrink to pull out the each of the episodes, then rebuild a new menu structure with DVD-Lab or TMPGEN DVD Author.
If the original DVD has motion menus, you can use DVDShrink to pull the videos for those too and use them in the reauthored disc.
I've never used Nero Recode2, but that might get you what you want without the need to reauthor.
I'd also check the guides and see if anything there might help as well. -
https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=231661 is a very recnet thread that is similar
DVDShrink 3.2 will be the easiest option
the 321 logo will be the last VOB ID in the VIDEO_TS.VOB -
Actually i figured it out , i didnt realized CloneDVD 2 had an option to split by Chapters, so i reripped it and split using CloneDVD the result was great, and i kept the menus and extras too with no stupid 321 logo, off to unistall the platinum crap wasting space on my HD. Thanks for all the help though
