If you want to get a sense of how Congress approaches throwing 20 years of technology law out the window, the full video of the INDUCE Act hearings is now available via Bittorrent here. If you don’t have it already, you should definitely download bittorrent here. Early next week, Downhill Battle and Click the Vote will be giving this legal use of p2p distribution a little publicity boost, so keep your torrents open.

And sorry it’s taken so long to get this up… we hear next time suprnova.org will have the full video available for download three days before the hearing even happens (that’s filesharing humor, sorry).
(Only took me a good 15 minutes to download, its pretty informative and essential to see)

Geez, now they'll be sure to ban eMule and BT and all other p2p, when congressmen see themselves and their shenanigans on it!
We can actually d/l and watch our rights being taken away, how ironic.Ethernet (n): something used to catch the etherbunny -
It actually was a pretty interesting hearing, i especially liked the countless times they say that it costs billions a year in software piracy, and half those representatives turned around and said "My personal favorite, E-Donkey 2000" and "Kazaa was responsible for ruining my harddrive..Not that i was downloading anything, of course!"
Its funny, these are the guys lobbying to change laws.
