I have a .mov file and I'd like to burn it to a dvd so I can play it on my dvd player. I think I have to convert it first but I'm not sure. I'm familiar with burning .img and .iso files but not mov. Thanks for your help.

You know I am about to do the same thing. And I normally convert avi's to mpegs with virtual dub to seperate the audio and then TMGEnc to do the conversion.
I see there is a QTreader plugin for TMGEnc which is cool. But how do you tell the frame rate of the MOV file? Virtual dub and G Spot cannot read it. And can I separate the audio?
Thanks
