Hi folks,
I regularly do small batches of DVD-R burns, lately it's been about 200 at a time. (every 2-3 months) What I'm curious is how other people run verification to catch defective media.
I was/am using PrassiPrimo2.0/RecordNowMax4.5 and I found that even when running with 'record/verify' and 'verify every round' that I was still finidng the occasional discs that had minor defects.
So then I started using Nero CD/DVD speed to test the discs and rejected any disc that had issues running up to full speed by the end of the image. (yuno how the speed will drop sometimes on the graph) Anyway, this picked up some defectives in the batches, but is a pain since you have to manually run the program every time and you can't just do a batch mode.
So I'm wondering, what do other people do when they want to verify their burns for quality purposes?
Regards,
Savant
